These plantations are fairly close together on the River Road and are easily accessible by car. Take I-10 West towards Baton Rouge. Go 28 miles past the New Orleans airport to exit 194 (south to Gramercy). Go 4 miles south on Hwy 641 (becomes 3213) to the Mississippi River Bridge (Veterans Memorial Bridge). Cross and immediately take the first ramp exit on your right. At the levee, take a right to reach Evergreen Plantation and Whitney Plantation. To reach Laura, St. Joseph, and Oak Alley, take a left. Laura is 4 miles ahead.
